This web seminar/audio conference will introduce you to the technical assistance and communication services that National Community Tax Coalition (NCTC) can provide for you and your organization. You can also find out what NCTC is doing to support the free tax preparation and asset building field and learn about our recent successes. Most importantly, learn how your participation in the Coalition can help to build your program and the field.

Annual Acceptance Agent Conference
The Internal Revenue Service's ITIN Policy Section will conduct the 2009 AA National Conference on June 23 - 24, 2009 in Tucson, AZ. The conference is being sponsored by Chester Ware, d/b/a Apex Products Inc., a local acceptance agent in Tucson. The conference will be held at the Hotel Arizona. Make your reservations prior to June 1, 2009 to get the special rate.
The conference offers two full days of seminars. The first day is devoted to the processing of ITIN applications, with a line-by-line review of Form W-7. All new acceptance agents are strongly encouraged to attend as they will gain beneficial information about processing ITIN applications. The IRS invites you to send in suggested topics for the sessions no later than April 30, 2009 via email to ITINProgramOffice@irs.gov.
A Case Study exercise will be held on the second day (June 24, 2009). The organizers need experienced volunteers to participate. Only registered volunteers will be accepted.
