Tax Time 2010

Helping Constituents Build Economic Security Using New Features on the Tax Form

As W-2 forms begin arriving in mailboxes, the 2010 Tax Season is officially about to kick-off. This year's tax return will provide taxpayers with new, simple options to save and leverage their tax refund.

This event will help Congressional Staff educate their constituents about these new features--including the ability to buy U. S. Savings Bonds directly on the tax form--and assist low- and moderate-income taxpayers in easing the tax-filing process and getting the most out of the tax form.

Join us for presentations by the IRS, the organization that spearheaded the return of U.S. Savings Bonds to the tax form, and leading practitioners with specialized experience in reaching out to low- and moderate-income taxpayers.
