Building an Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition

Earned Income Tax Coalitions bring together community organizations, city and state government, the IRS, employers, and others to ensure that low-income individuals and families receive tax benefits that they are qualified for. Through outreach and awareness, free tax preparation services, and related services such as asset-building and financial education, coalitions can ensure that millions of dollars come into and help revitalize communities. The sources below can help you start a coalition in your community.
