Program Survey
Each year, the Coalition collects tax season data from its affiliates, and uses that data for research, building support for the EITC in Congress, and demonstrating the impact of our programs to funders.
2008 Program Self-Assessment Survey
This survey was closed in September, 2008, so we could analyse the data. We will open the survey in April 2009.
NCTC uses the data to develop the field of free tax preparation and asset building by:
- raising funds to support national conference, pilot projects and technical assistance
- conducting research studies
- working with affiliates to strengthen and protect the EITC in Congress and state Capitols
- lobbying for federal funding for free tax preparation programs
