Mission Statement

The National Community Tax Coalition seeks to improve the economic well being of low- and moderate-income individuals, families, and communities by building a movement to dramatically increase access to tax credits and benefits and asset-building opportunities.

Building on Coalition affiliates' service delivery and public policy expertise, the Coalition will serve as a unified voice on tax policies and practices impacting our constituents.

The Coalition will improve the effectiveness and impact of affiliates providing tax outreach and assistance and asset-building opportunities, and will work to meet its mission through advocacy, coalition-building, outreach, and capacity-building support to affiliates.
